C.L. Blanco is an artist from the United States. This art journey began with drawing dinosaurs as soon as he learned to hold a pencil. Although Blanco recieved training through obtaining a BFA in Painting and studying various masters, the ability to communicate narrative skills between envrionment and speculative evolution subject matter was self-taught.

Blanco believes speculative evolution and paleo art contextualizes the biodiversity that we see on our great planet today. Blanco's main inspirations are the Hudson River School various artists from the American West. Blanco is also inspired by contemporary creature design done commercially for media and entertainment.
