FAQ

What is Speculative Evolution?

"Speculative evolution is a subgenre of science fiction and an artistic movement focused on hypothetical scenarios in the evolution of life"
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speculative_evolution

The subject and narrative of my work is exploring this genre through the lens of fine art.

What animal is this?

My artwork features speculative evolution species that I research and design. Some of the subjects are species that exist or have existed. Each print comes with an additonal card print describing the biology and environment of the species I create.

Do you sell prints?

I sell high resolution, archival prints, printed on Moab Entrada cotton paper and cotton canvas. Acid free cotton is ideal for archival quality. I sign and write the edition on the back of each print and I provide a signed card featuring a sketch of the painting that also doubles as a certificate of authenticity.

Each print is shipped in a sturdy, thick cardboard round shipping tube for safe delivery.
Being mindful of the environment is part of my values and I wrap prints in wax paper or acid free tissue paper instead of plastic for protection.
